Thank you for patronage.  With your support, we are celebrating 2014, our 54th year.

These concerts are sponsored in part by the Music Performance Fund of the American Federation of Musicians as administered by the Chicago Federation of Musicians.  We thank the MPF and CFM as well as the organizations below whose resources make our concerts possible.  Funding has forced us to mitigate to 4 orchestral and 1 big band, but the Park Ridge Park District has graciously agreed to provide talented musical groups August 1st and August 8th so we can continue our Friday night summers in Hodges Park.

  • The City of Park Ridge
  • The Park Ridge Recreation & Park District

You can help us.  Join us for our Fundraiser Dinner-dance at Park Ridge Country Club Saturday November 1, 2014, or make a donation.  You can mail a check to our PO Box or make a donation online.  See our 2014 schedule below.

***Park Ridge Park District will be selling food for the convenience of our patrons and families.  Pizza, hot dogs, drinks from vending truck.  You can buy something in the park, take a break from cooking and just enjoy the evening.

 “7th Heaven”

This is the premier Chicago band. Renditions of Def Lepard, The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Journey and U2 are delivered at a frenetic pace driving audiences to literally dancing in the streets. Musicianship, theatrics, and that unmistakable Irish brogue fuel original songs that came straight from the radio play-list. This is the band your neighbors will be buzzing about for the rest of the summer.

Mark Kennetz, Nick Cox, Richard Hofherr, Mike Mooshe, y, Tamara Mooshey

7th heaven is a Chicago, Illinois-based rock band created by guitarist Richie Hofherr, Tony Di Giulio and Michael Mooshey. Formed in 1985, it has continued up to present day with changing band members.

7th heaven was managed by Alec John Such of Bon Jovi and James Young of Styx in 1997-1998. 7th heaven is currently managed by NTD Management, which also manages such bands as "1 Speed Go" & HiFi Superstar. They are signed to NTD Records, writing over 3000 songs by now, doing many shows and selling 25,000 CDs to date. Their acclaimed Silver 30-tracks double CD released in 2004 has been a very popular favourite release.

The title of their 2008 release 14-track album USA-UK' comes from joining of the Northern Ireland singer, Keith Semple joining the American AOR band. Semple had won Popstars: The Rivals a UK singing competition and had become a member of boy band One True Voice during the period 2002-2003, before the band broke up. Semple had a gold record with One True Voice mainly through their double A side hit Sacred Trust/After You're Gone that had reached #2 in the British music charts.

The band released the album entitled "Jukebox" in 2010 on the occasion of the band's 25 years. It contains over 700 of the band's song from its start to then. They have also recorded another Semple-led album entitled "Pop Media" in 2011 containing 22 new songs.

In January 2013, the band welcomed Anthony Fedorov as lead singer. In June of that year, they released the album "Synergy." On August 22, 2013 the band announced that Fedorov was no longer in the band. After Federov's departure, Keith Semple became the band's temporary lead vocalist.

All concerts are at 8 pm in Hodges Park, in front of Park Ridge City Hall with exception of July 3rd fireworks event at Maine East HS sponsored by Park Ridge Park District.
